- 2 cloves of garlic, mashed
- 3 tsp. cumin
- 5 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 cup of water from the boiled chickpeas
- 1 tsp. salt
For serving

- 1 tsp. sumac
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tbsp. parsley or fresh coriander
- juice from 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp. boiled chickpeas
